When it comes to 12-inch frying pans, you can't go wrong with the GreenPan Prime Midnight. It offers a durable glass lid for good visibility of your dish while cooking, and its handle doesn’t get hot!
Some customers have mentioned that GreenLife's frying pans are designed with curved sides and shallow depths, so food can easily be accidentally pushed out of the pan while stirring.
Thus, GreenPan is the best 12-inch fry pan we can recommend!
The Most Durable Frying Pans
If you’re looking for a frying pan that will never let go, a pair of GreenPan Venice Pro frying pans are hard to beat.
It is made from 3-ply stainless steel, finished with the fantastic Evershine technology, and coated with Thermolon Minerals Pro.
This incredible coating ensures that you can use metal utensils without worrying about scratching off a protective layer.
With the stainless steel base, you get induction efficiency on any stovetop - no matter what cooking method you prefer!
Cookware Sets
GreenPan has probably the widest selection of healthy ceramic cookware sets of all manufacturers.

Stackable Cookware
GreenPan is the only option for those who want stackable cookware.
Their Levels line is an excellent choice and has some of the highest ratings for its innovative ideas and quality design.
Buyers rave about how it accommodates all their needs and can be stacked together for easy storage in a small kitchen!

Is GreenPan Cookware non-toxic?
The GreenPan cookware is designed with the most sensitive cooks in mind.
The heavy-duty cookware is perfect for those who love to experiment and cook a variety of different dishes. However, they may be difficult to handle if you have smaller hands or less strength.
Moreover, these riveted stainless steel handles stay cool when hot, which provides an easy grip on both sides.
GreenPan's non-stick coating made from a diamond-reinforced Thermolon is environmentally friendly and safe for cooking.
It does not contain harmful chemicals such as PFOA, PFOS, lead, or cadmium. The sand-derived coating doesn’t release any toxic fumes even if overheated - according to the manufacturer.
The GreenPan Paris Pro and Valencia Pro lines offer the best Thermolon Mineral Pro non-stick coating.
Not only does it make cooking more manageable, but these ceramic cookware sets are also among the healthiest options available!
Are GreenLife pans safe?
GreenLife ceramic cookware is the perfect choice for home chefs who want a cutting-edge piece of kitchen equipment.
Their ergonomic handles and stay-cool Bakelite design make cooking easy on both your hands and your eyes.
The GreenLife pans are also made from Thermolon, which fair well against scratches. You have to follow cleaning instructions accurately for your cookware to last a long time.
They can chip and lose their non-stick properties over the years, but GreenLife holds an advantage in color variants!
GreenLife vs GreenPan: Construction & Durability
GreenPan Cookware
The GreenPan pots and pans are made of a durable hard-anodized aluminum exterior, which is strong enough to withstand even the most frequent use.
Venice Pro is the only exception, as it is made of stainless steel.
These pans heat up quickly with the Thermolon coated ceramic materials – so you can easily prepare different recipes on your low setting without much hassle or added time!
GreenLife Cookware
GreenLife cookware features strong bases made from standard or hard-anodized aluminum, the latter being only featured in the GreenLife Classic collection.
The body bases of these pots and pans are made from sturdy forged materials, which prevents warping over time.
The bottom line is that GreenLife offers choices of aluminum and hard-anodized aluminum.
GreenPan, in contrast, can provide you with these as well as higher-end collections with fully clad stainless steel coating.
Both brands are sturdy and well constructed, which means that they should last for years if properly care for.
Among these steps is avoiding overheating the pan during the cooking process. In most cases, this is the main reason ceramic coatings lose their non-stick properties.
GreenPan vs GreenLife: Usability
GreenPan and GreenLife offer great non-stick surfaces that allow you to cook your favorite foods without any oil necessary and make cleaning up after easier.
The best part is they both suggest metal utensils can be used in their pans, though we recommend using plastic, wood, or nylon utensils instead for the pan’s longevity.
Induction compatibility
GreenLife’s cookware sets are generally not compatible with induction stovetops. Their only induction-compatible line is the GreenLife Soft Grip Induction Collection.
The GreenPan company has a range of options for every kitchen needs.
They offer induction-compatible cookware collections such as Venice Pro, SmartShape, Chatham, and stainless steel.
Each line is designed to be functional in cooking space use and attractive enough to display on your stovetop when not in use!
Oven compatibility
There is a vast selection of GreenPan products, including different temperature ranges to suit your cooking needs.
We found that the aluminum exterior provides for more even heat conduction, so it heats up much faster and stays hotter than other pans you may be used to using.
You'll find this makes perfect sense if you want something quick and simple - just turn on low or medium heat settings!
For the GreenPan Paris Pro and Valencia Pro collections, oven-safe temperatures can rise to 600 °F, while the glass lids can reach 425 °F.
With the GreenPan Hudson collection, you can bake at 320°F and brown on the glass lids at 425°F.
For heat resistance, Levels Hard-Anodized collection is oven-safe to 400°F, and its lids are suitable for temperatures up to 350°F.
GreenLife's pots and pans are made with meltable Bakelite handles, so they're not your best bet when it comes to an oven.
In contrast, GreenLife's Classic Pro line can be used in ovens up to 600 °F, but their Soft Grip collections are only oven-safe to 350 °F!
However, we recommend oven use only for cookware pieces such as pots, not for frying pans.
Cleaning
Never use a nylon scrubber to clean your GreenLife pots and pans, as they will damage the non-stick coating.
Ensure you allow them to cool before washing so that food does not stick onto other surfaces and utensils while cleaning up dishes.
You can prolong their life by using warm water with soap after letting the pot sit for a few minutes for any leftover bits of food won't smudge on anything else when it's time to wash!
As GreenPan cookware is so easy to clean, you won't have any problems cleaning it. You should, however, always hand wash them for the best results.
The GreenPan and the GreenLife brands both say that their cookware is dishwasher safe, but we don’t think you should.
The harshness of a dishwasher cycle would ruin the strong point of their nonstick coatings.
We recommend that you handle the ceramic coating with care, especially if used for the long term. Ceramic coating and dishwashers are not a good match.
Warranty
Both GreenPan and GreenLife offer a limited lifetime warranty for their products.
Sizes
GreenPan frying pans are available in 8", 9,5", 10", 11" and 12" sizes.
GreenLife makes 4", 7", 8”, 10", and 12” pans.
GreenPan vs GreenLife: The Verdict
The GreenPan and the GreenLife are both great ways to cook food with less mess.
They're very similar, but they also have some essential differences that you may want to consider before deciding which one is best for your kitchen!
GreenLife is the perfect choice for those looking to add a touch of style and comfort to their cooking experience.
GreenPan provides durability, precise heat control, and more with its design as well.
