Fleischer & Wolf London 10-Piece Cookware Set

Design:

The London 10-piece set contains two frying pans and four saucepans all of which have shiny black exterior and a light grey interior.

The handles are long and slightly curved with sizeable hanging holes at the ends. All saucepans have clear glass covering lids. The set weighs 7.98 pounds when packed.

Materials:

Each piece on the set has hard anodized aluminum as the main material. The bases on the utensils are layered with a stainless steel plate. The lids on the saucepans are clear and can withstand high temperatures.

Handles are all made from cool to touch stainless steel and are dual riveted to ensure they remain in place for a long time. The pieces are viable for use on all burners, ovens, and grills.

Usability:

We like the modern look on these pieces that also matches their performance. The stainless steel body provides quick and evenly distributed heat with no hotspots.

Healthy and safe food is delivered on the non-stick surface that has no toxins. The handles come firmly fixed on the body of each piece using two rivets. Interestingly, they remain cool to touch even after staying for hours on the stove.

After sampling user feedback about these set pieces, we found users who like the quick and easy process of cooking using the pans and saucepans.

Users also advise new buyers to only use nonabrasive cleaning sponges to get rid of leftover food items from the pans' surface. They also warn against using steel wool because it damages the cooking surface by scratching it.

Sampled user reviews also had many users who were impressed with the durability of the set with some having used them for a number of years.

Cleaning:

Although the manufacturer describes the set pieces as safe for dish washer cleaning, minimize tossing the pieces in the dishwasher to increase their life.

After all, hand washing with soap and water gets rid of most of the food items from the set pieces due to the non-stick nature of the cooking surface. If washing in the dishwasher, we recommend separating the lids and washing them in the top drawer of the dish washer.

The set contains:

  • 8-inch fry pan
  • 1-quart sauce pan with cover
  • 2-quart sauce pan with cover
  • 9.5-inch fry pan
  • 3-quart sauce pan with cover
  • 5-quart Dutch saucepan oven with cover

Pros

  • Fast and even heating
  • Supports dishwasher cleaning
  • Multi-sized utensils enable cooking small and large meals
  • Sold with accompanying covering lids
  • Stay cool handles are durable and comfortable to use when cooking

Cons

  • Do not support induction heaters
  • Non-stick cooking surface stops working after use for some time

Fleischer & Wolf Seville 10-Piece Stainless Steel Set

Design:

The Seville 10-piece set contains four saucepans and twin frying pans. The exterior on this set has a unique hammered effect appearance and the interior is light gray.

The sauce pans are sold with covering lids where two have spacious holding handles at the top while the other two do not. This enables easy stacking, thus saving space in your kitchen's shelf. The set piece weighs 22. 2 pounds when packed.

Materials:

The core of the sauce pans and frying pans on this set is thick aluminum that is encapsulated by two layers of stainless steel. The aluminum core is 1.33 millimeters, while the inner stainless steel layer is 0.55 millimeters and the exterior stainless steel layer is 2.3 millimeters.

The handles consist of space-age material that is custom fitted to resemble polished marble. They also have large holes that allow you to hang them on a rack to display their neo-classical look when not in use. The pieces also support cooking over all burners, ovens, and grills.

Usability:

We recommend this pan for use in the kitchen because of the 3-ply design that combines aluminum and stainless steel to deliver quick and evenly spread heat. The cooking surface, which is stainless steel based is hygienic and offers quick cleaning and safe performance.

Users like the pieces because they are versatile and come in varying sizes, thus enabling you to cook both small and large meals. The accompanying clear glass lids can withstand high temperatures, thus enabling use of the sauce pans in the oven.

We sampled positive feedback from users of this set and found many who like the stackable nature of the set. This is possible because the covering lids do not have holding handles.

The silicone surrounding on the lids, however, retains food particles between the edges and requires you to remove and replace in each cleaning cycle.

Durability for this set is guaranteed if proper care guidelines are followed. For instance, clean the sauce pans and frying pans using hand washing methods with non-abrasive sponges and limit washing in the dishwasher.

Cleaning:

Food cooked on these pieces does not stick on the stainless steel interior, which makes it easy to clean the saucepans and frying pans. Hand washing with running water and soap is enough to get rid of the left food items.

The lids edge that is meant to give a tight seal when placed over the saucepan is removable. In fact, you need to remove it so as to clean the lids properly. Replacing it is also easy since it fits back in place perfectly.

The set contains:

  • 8-inch fry pan
  • 1-quart sauce pan with cover
  • 2-quart sauce pan with cover
  • 9.5-inch fry pan
  • 3-quart sauce pan with cover
  • 5.75-quart Dutch oven sauce pan with cover

Pros

  • Easy to clean
  • Support dishwasher cleaning
  • Look nice and unique with the hammered effect exterior
  • Durable
  • Contain a large saucepan that is safe for use in the oven

Cons

  • Covering lids silicone edge require removing and replacing during washing
  • Non-stick surface wears off after usage for sometime

Fleischer & Wolf Monaco 9-Piece Nonstick Cookware Set

Design:

The Monaco Set comprises three frying pans and three saucepans that have accompanying covering lids. The utensils have a white exterior and a dark non-stick interior cooking surface.

Its polished handles are long with spacious hanging holes at the ends. The covering lids on the saucepans have a round silicone edge. This set weighs 25.4 pounds when packaged.

Materials:

The core for these set pieces is aluminum with a stainless steel plate. The interior cooking surface measures 4.7 millimeters in thickness and comes coated with WhitFord Ertana PTFE, which enables easy cleaning and efficient food release.

The exterior is hard oxidized to make it flame resistant. The glass lids are made of tough tempered glass that is scratch free. Usage in the oven is possible up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Usability:

We like the presentation of this set because it makes it suitable for gifting. Moreover, its performance in the kitchen does not disappoint. The revolutionary oxidation process that is used to make the Monaco set eliminates use of chemicals when hardening the aluminum body, thus enabling the saucepans and frying pans to deliver safe and healthy food.

Non-stick coating makes it easy to cook using little amounts of cooking oil and makes the cleanup process after cooking easy since there is no food stuck on the cooking surface.

We observed from user feedback that the stay cool handles are effective in dissipating heat and remain cool to the touch even after cooking for long. Some disappointed users, however, called out the cooking surface as not being non-stick, something that contradicts the manufacturers and retailer descriptions.

The pieces can be stacked on top of one another, which enables you to save space in your kitchen when storing the sauce pans. The lids have high heat tolerance that enables you to use the large saucepans in the oven. Be sure to limit the temperature during oven use to below 500 degrees Fahrenheit as instructed by the manufacturer.

Cleaning:

According to the user feedback we collected, cleaning in the dishwasher reduces durability of the utensils and should be kept to a minimum. Hand washing with non-abrasive sponges and water sufficiently cleans the cooking surface since food does not get stuck.

We also recommend avoiding scratching the cooking surface with metal utensils. Only use wooden and silicone cooking spoons to ensure you use the saucepans and frying pans for a long time.

The set contains:

  • 8-inch Fry pan
  • 9.5-inch Fry pan
  • 11-inch Fry pan
  • 1.5-quart sauce pan with cover
  • 3.25-quart/ 6-quart Dutch oven sauce pan with cover

Pros

  • Easy to clean
  • Safe to use over flat glass cooking top without scratching the surface
  • Covering lids fit over the frying pans
  • Heat up quickly and evenly
  • Handles stay cool to touch even after being in use for hours in the kitchen

Cons

  • The exterior paint chips and peels off after some time
  • Cannot be used over induction heaters

Fleischer & Wolf London Royalty 12-Piece Cookware Set

Design:

The London Royalty 10-Piece Set has a luxurious appearance that is characterized by highly polished silver stainless steel utensils and polished shiny handles that are dark brown in color.

The pieces in this set include five differently sized saucepans with their accompanying covering lids and two frying pans that have a non-stick cooking surface.

Materials:

The three-ply design that is common across Fleischer and Wolf cookware also features on the London Royalty set pieces. The aluminum core delivers quick and even heating of the cooking surface while the stainless steel covering the core enables delivery of safe and toxin-free food.

The pans of the set are coated with the highest quality Whitford Eterna nonstick.

The handles on the saucepans and fry pans are dual riveted for a firm grip and to ensure long lasting usage.

Usability:

The tri-ply layering of the utensils makes them durable and efficient to cook with over a variety of cooking stoves. The pieces have nice aesthetics and truly stand out in the kitchen.

The five differently sized sauce pans enable cooking both for a small family and a large group of people. We like the inclusion of the large Dutch saucepan that fits the oven together with the covering lid enabling for slow simmering of soups and stews.

Clear and tempered glass lids allow you to observe the food as it cooks on the cooking surface without having to open the lid and lose heat.

We sampled user reviews and found users who loved the handles on the pieces due to their ability to dissipate heat effectively and remain cool to touch even after cooking for hours.

Other users found the incompatibility of the set pieces with induction heaters disappointing because it contradicts the description on the retailer's site. The retailer claims that the set can be used over all cooktops including induction heaters.

Cleaning:

Cleaning of the London Royalty set pieces should be done using the hand washing technique with a non-abrasive sponge, soap, and water.

Following this cleaning procedure means you won't damage the cooking surface of the saucepans and fry pans that can happen when you wash them in the dish washer. The lids can be a little hard to clean but soaking them in warm water for some time eases the cleaning by softening the stuck food.

The set contains:

  • 2 fry pans
  • 5 sauce pans each with a covering lid

Pros

  • They heat up fast and evenly
  • Sold with covering lids
  • Variety of sizes enable cooking small and large meals
  • Handles stay cool to touch even after cooking for long

Cons

  • Cannot be stacked over each other
  • Cleaning the glass lids is difficult
